Why are razor blades so expensive?

Can Waymoe do an AMA instead?

Because companies that make razor blades have to carry very expensive insurance polices for the unfortunate times when accidents occur. Razors, when used improperly are very dangerous implements and one must always use caution while working with them.

Can Redbull ask a question instead?

Are there accidents often with Atra/Trac II razors? They seem foolproof to me.

Even disposable razors aren't' cheap.

Since you're a journalist, you probably have contacts there.

Can you ask them to ask you a question on my behalf?

Which manufacturer puts out the best food for their press events?

It depends, honestly. Motorola makes the least dangerous razor, however.

I am not that good of a journalist yet, but I will continue to work hard and perhaps someday I will have contacts there.

I do not eat food at press events; I do not want to have my opinions biased by free things, such as food, sponsorships, or endorsements.

Okay, I'm good with that. One more before I turn in..

I read the House GOP Select Committee on Benghazi hearings started today. Just last month the Republican-led Senate Intelligence Committee found no wrongdoing by the administration after a two year investigation. Why is this being dug up again?

Haha I don't know him either. Just read some of his posts. His name just sounds like yours so I thought maybe it was one person who created different usernames ending in moe :)

Because we are entering (or in, depending on who you ask) a mid-term election cycle in the USA. Mid-term elections are the halfway/two year mark in a Presidency's term (4 years). These elections are important because it can dictate the final two years of a President's times in office. As is done every two years, the House of Representatives (435) are all up for re-election, and 1/3rd of the Senate is up for election (the Senate members have 6 year terms). There are 50 Senators, so approximately 16 Senators are up for re-election every two years.

I digress.

The reason Benghazi is being dug up again is because it is a wedge issue. A wedge issue is an event/idea/policy that is very important to a large number of the population. In this case, the Republicans are taking advantage of President Obama's low approval rating and want to remind voters of the "mis-handling" of the Benghazi tragedy. Even though no wrong-doing was found most people only remember the sensationalized headlines because the media in this country enjoy stirring things up instead of reporting on facts. So, the voters will vote based on their initial feelings on this wedge, which in this case will benefit the Republicans and perhaps lead to many election night victories in November.

Good night, friend!

Exactly what I was thinking. To the letter. It's disgusting and we deserve better.

Buenos noches.

Well that's just silly. Us journalists are dirt poor. I never turn down a free meal. Ever.

I just bought this 1985 Buick regal somerset (the one with the unibrow taillights and fancy digital interior)

I really like the current Regal but can't afford them, so I bought this 85 instead.

What mods do you recommend, I want to leave my job and launch my rallying career.

I have 3250$ left on my Visa.

I would rather be silly and have integrity of thought than have my opinions corrupted by free calories. It is an unpopular opinion, but I hold on to it.

oooo, i like those cars!

not being able to afford cars is tough, but it is part of being a jalopy ( I wrote a piece on this earlier).

Anyway, modifications that are essential would be converting it from fuel injection to carburetor, this will re inject soul to the vehicle. Rallying is difficult and I am still learning the basic tenets of what makes a good rally driver. In general, the more you talk about rallying the better driver you will be. Start on the internet, make friends and convince them you are good.

3250 is plenty of money; go hard or go broke! Best of luck Kate.

Well thanks for your precious advices. I saw that Diesel powered cars are doing pretty well at LeMans, do you think I should put Some Diesel in the fuel cell ?

As for rallying, I'm spending a lot of time on the simulator.

Speaking of which, should I upgrade to Dirt 3 ?

GTA5 is the best rally simulator. If all else fails in your life, you can go get drunk and find a prostitute.

Diesel is the fuel of satan.

Eh, free pizza isn't going to get me to write nice things about your football team if it sucks. Being polite and accommodating (i.e not a rude asshole demanding coverage) will go a lot further with me than anything else will.
